How We're Helping

The Community House of Hope is a Non-Profit organization in the Lapeer country area.  The program supports a resale shop & client help center. With the help of our tireless staff, we organize fundraisers to help support our programs and accept monetary donations. 

Donations

The donations are from Churches, Private Donors,  and other fund raisers.

​The donations are to help people and families that have had a major loss in their life. (Fire, loss of income, etc.)

Volunteers are needed to sort and organize donated items and run the store. Other volunteers help with lifting and carrying heavy things (example furniture).

Linen Pantry

Depending of availability, this program helps with sheets, pillowcases, blankets, pillows, afghans, bath and kitchen towels, wash clothes, shower curtains and table clothes. 

Furniture and House-ware Pantry

Depending of availability, this program helps with Living-room furniture, Bedroom furniture, tables and chairs, lamps, end/coffee tables. Kitchen items like dishes, glassware, pots and pans, utensils, silverware. Working appliances large and small.
