ccStudents
ccStudents exists to help every 7th–12th grader come to saving faith in Jesus Christ. We pray that each student who walks through our doors is known by name, encouraged to use their God‑given gifts, and welcomed into a community that genuinely loves one another and loves Jesus. Our desire is to prepare students to live out a vibrant faith in Jesus Christ—discovering God’s calling on their lives, positioning themselves to impact the world with the Good News, and purposefully stepping into God’s mission for His Kingdom.
ccStudent Group
Wednesday Nights, we gather in The Café and Gym from 6:30–8:00 PM for both Middle School and High School. Our Wednesday night programming begins with a large‑group time and then moves into small groups divided by grade and gender. Students study the Bible together, pray, and build meaningful community. Throughout the year, Wednesday nights also include worship nights, service opportunities, games, and other moments designed to help students grow in their faith.
Students are also welcome to join the Ministry Leadership Team in ccSTUDENTS, where they can use their gifts to serve in a youth‑ministry setting shaping the direction of ministry. Our goal is to create a space of belonging where students can grow to become more like Jesus.
Once a month, on the last Wednesday, we host FOOD NIGHT—a shared meal paired with a student‑driven question or topic explored from a biblical worldview.
Special Events
Once a month on the last Wednesday is what we call ‘FOOD NIGHT’. These nights include fun games, a meal shared around the table to broach a question or topic students want to discuss after which we break off into our small groups to finish up the night.
We also have SPECAIL EVENTS that students can engage in, from game nights, winter retreats, Statewide, to Girls Spa Day to mission trips and serving projects.
DEEP-DISCIPLESHIP
What We’re Learning
Middle School (7-8th Grade)
Junior High students are at the age where their worldview is not only being challenged, but is being formed in a way it had never been before. Discovery and delving into all sorts of topics are things we hope to do with our junior high students. The Bible is our standard and resource that informs our understanding.
High School (9-12th Grade)
High Schoolers are at the age where faith is being de-constructed and re-constructed all at the same time. Questions like, “Does God even Exist?” or “What does the Bible even mean for me?” are questions we hope to answer and help students discover as they approach the end of their adolescent years.
How We’re Applying
Learning is great but application is powerful. God has called us to make disciples, followers of Jesus Christ. Our process (see below) is straight forward and repeatable - its just doing life together for the honor and glory of Christ.
