2026 Women’s Tea
Table Host Information
We are going to try something new this year! Each table will be voluntarily
hosted by different women from our church. It we will be such fun to see how
unique and lovely each table is done up. We will have a friendly competition
as well. Every attendee can vote on their favorite table and the winner will get
a special gifts!
What it means to be a Table Host ….
Each table has six seats; the host wil try to fill her 5 seats with friends, family, coworkers,
etc.
o If a host is unable to fill her seats we will put other women at the table.
o Guest registration will not open for a couple more weeks, after we have our
table hosts signed up! When it does, you can register each of your guests
using the online form, or tell them to sign up online themself and put your name
in the Table Host field.
The host is responsible for the complete decorating of the table – be creative!
The host will provide dishes, silverware/plastic-ware, napkins, platters or tiered trays
for food, 2 teapots (preferably), sugar bowl, teacups and saucers, etc.
The finger foods, cold water and hot water for the tea will be provided. The host will
provide sugar, honey, creamer, lemon slices or whatever they choose.
The host will bring her own tea bags (we suggest herbal or decaffeinated).
After the event, the host will clear the table and take the dirty dishes home. The
kitchen area will not be open to hosts for washing items or leaving things to store.
Of course a host can recruit help! Especially set things up and take things down.
